MGXTWV Central Loose Tube Miner Cable is specifically designed for use in underground mining and harsh environments. It offers high durability, water resistance, and mechanical protection to ensure reliable performance in challenging conditions.

Structure and Features

1. Optical Fibers:
   • Composed of 200μm or 250μm fibers, typically single-mode or multimode, depending on application needs.
   • The fibers are positioned in a central loose tube, made of high-modulus plastic, providing flexibility and protection.
2. Water-Resistant Filling:
   • The loose tube is filled with a water-resistant filling compound to prevent moisture ingress and maintain fiber integrity even in wet conditions.
3. Strength Member:
   • The cable features two parallel steel wires positioned on either side of the central strength member, which enhances its tensile strength and allows the cable to withstand installation and operational stresses.
4. Water-Blocking Design:
   • A layer of PSP (Polyester Steel Tape) is applied longitudinally around the loose tube, providing additional protection and ensuring the cable remains watertight.
   • Water-blocking materials are placed between the PSP and the loose tube to further protect against water ingress, keeping the cable compact and secure.
5. Sheath and Armoring:
   • A thin inner PE sheath surrounds the cable core, providing a barrier against environmental elements.
   • The final PE outer sheath offers additional durability and protection against physical damage, UV radiation, and chemical exposure.
