Structure and Features

1. Optical Fibers:
   • 200μm or 250μm fibers positioned in a loose tube made from high-modulus plastic.
   • Available in single-mode and multimode options.
2. Loose Tube:
   • Filled with a water-resistant compound to protect fibers from moisture and environmental stress.
3. Strength Member:
   • A central steel wire provides tensile strength to the cable core.
4. Water Blocking:
   • The core is filled with water-blocking material to prevent water ingress, ensuring long-term reliability.
5. Steel Tape Armoring:
   • A corrugated steel tape (PSP) is applied for additional mechanical protection.
6. Sheath:
   • A polyethylene (PE) sheath ensures UV resistance, weatherproofing, and durability.
7. Self-Supporting Messenger Wire:
   • Integrated galvanized steel wire in a figure-8 configuration acts as the messenger for aerial installations, combining strength and ease of deployment.
